Monday, So tired...

This is my feeling for today.  It is terribly smokey here as usual for this time of year.  That does not bode well for us asthmatics. I had a dull headache Friday and then a really bd headache Saturday after I worked outside in the smoke. The air index is bad, so inside we stay.  But the smoke makes me tired.

Had both Kelsa and Oliver last night so my sleep was anything but good. Love having them and they play so well together, but it has to be inside because of the air quality. So, it is a little noisy but that is okay.

Lots of last-minute calls today, seems to be that week. I have several dresses to alter and about 4 or 5 wedding dresses for September I will get started on this week. Also, a ton of work for my little person.  No rest for this wicked girl.

Braunwyn is coming down to pick up Oliver and take the kids swimming at Kelly's pool. They can handle to air for a while I cannot.

The grass people are coming back today to discuss the disaster progress of my hydro seeded lawn that is nothing but weeds and very little grass, I have never spent so much time watering and nurturing a mess in my life. The lawn man is in a quandary, so the hydroseed company is coming out also. I have spent a great deal of money and time for a lawn that is all spurge and quack grass. I know they will stand by me, but it is an aggravation.

Tomorrow is that last day for the foreman of the cattle owner to show up and show that he is even going to attempt to fix the fence.  We might be going to court. I really dislike confrontation.

I wish this was a better happier post, but that is where I am right now. Just trying to hold on and get through the day with just a little bit of sunshine.

God is good

  1. I do hope you get your lawn sorted Kim - I can imagine the cost & also all that work that you have done keeping it watered. It is not good. I hope they reach a happy conclusion for you.

    1. I have a firm belief that they will stand behind their product, but boy does it take patience.

  2. I'm sorry about the lawn problems, but I'm glad that they are trying to make it right. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.
I don't understand why the farmer isn't fixing the fence though. Maybe document and take pictures of damage in case you have to go to court.
Hope today is a better day.

  3. I hope they make things right for you. That is why I just let my lawn do its thing - I don't need a perfection, just green. I know you have spent a tremendous amount of time and money.
Make sure you document all the damage from the cattle - it will help one way or another. Hope you don't have to go to court.
    Stay in and stay safe.

    1. I don't have to have a perfect lawn either I just don't want all weeds and that is what I have now.

  4. I'm so sorry - that sounds like so much. A few thoughts (ignore if unhelpful). If they offered you your money back on the lawn, are there alternatives that might grow better in your area? In my area, most people do drought resistant landscaping (we aren't in the same climate, so this might be less common where you use) & fake grass is very common. They make really amazing fake grass now. Again, not sure if that's on your radar or something you would consider, but throwing it out there. Hugs. I also hate confrontation & try hard to avoid it, so the fence situation would be driving me bananas. - Hawaii Planner
