Remember the Friday was my day off thing.... Well, it ain't happening this Friday. And it is so beautiful out and I want to be outside all day!!!!! So, I am a little cranky.
I really should not be as I had a specialist appt. this morning and all my blood work was great! That does not happen too often. So, I don't have to see Rheumatologist for another 6 months.
I have so much to do in shop and I can't let myself not get a few things done. I did really well yesterday, so I hope I have the same determination today.
Wednesday got away from me as I had both kids, and I just took my house back. I cleaned my closet and switched out summer and winter shoes. I also culled all the kids toys and sent home bags and bags of things that belonged to the babies. The closet was a nightmare with all their stuff that was left here.
I also put away Easter which was sad as I hardly got to enjoy it, but the house does look fresh and clean. SO that is a plus.
Today it is two prom dresses and two wedding dresses. After that I can play. Oh, I also have to make a slew of phone calls which I hate to do. Can't wait to get Sissie here, she does much better phone than I.
Okay, okay I will get to work but I don't want to.
Kim
Every time I read your posts - I am so glad to be retired. I love having a day (any day I want) to do whatever I want - sometimes nothing at all! You sure keep active.
ReplyDeleteI long to be retired instead of just tired. BUt I don't know if that will ever happen.
DeleteI can relate to how exciting good blood work is from the rheumatologist, so take a few minutes to drink a diet soda & celebrate that win! Sounds like you made a lot of progress this week, even if it doesn't feel like it.
ReplyDeleteI helped Nick track down some fraudulent charges on his debit card, and canceled a credit card today, in addition to my regular stuff. Oh, and finally got my shoes repaired, which has been on my to do list forever. Woohoo!
That was me - Hawaii Planner
DeleteI knew it was you as soon as you said Nick!
DeleteI echo the good news on rheumatologist visits. I'm hoping my Tuesday joint care goes well. I know why my MIL dropped stuff off forgotten stuff in the fay - it does grow and grow. I have more purging, but also need to be tackling outside stuff. Might need sunscreen. The tree guys are here now getting stumps gone, a tree removed, and four spruc trimmed to 8 foot clearance. It's going to be so nice to enjoy the yard and patio without worrying about wandering dogs or strange people wandering in my yard who ignore private yards.
ReplyDeleteGood for you getting things cleaned up, I am a wash with yard work and I don't know if it will ever be done.
DeleteYou always seem so busy. Hope you get a rest this weekend. Good news on the medical front thought.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
I took a nap Sunday afternoon. Told myself it was a day of rest and it was!
DeleteI would love to get good news from a doctor! Good news from anywhere is great, though. Give those girls a stapler and packing tape for their prom dresses. Maybe you could turn off the phone and hide your car so people could not find you.
ReplyDeleteBelieve me I have been tempted.
DeleteBest crabby kitten photo ever: I burst out laughing. And, dear Kim, delighted you got good lab results--ALWAYS a plus!
ReplyDeleteI know as they are so rare.
DeleteGood news on your bloodl work!
ReplyDeleteHey I will take the good news!
DeleteYay for good news from the doctor!!!! And I want that little kitten, crabby or not!
ReplyDeleteKittens are so cute but they grow into cats and garage cat is a one woman cat, so I cannot get another kitty. Dang.
DeleteI hate phone calls. Hubby does also.. we do a lot of "I did it the last time" LOL.Great news from doctor.
ReplyDeleteI just don't want to stop what I am doing and redirect. I hate that!
