Wednesday, Spinning in circles

The hydro seeding is done, and I am going to have to work my butt off watering. I have to be very careful not to let anything get on the seeding and I am used to dragging hoses everywhere. I may be watering my pots with a watering can. The lawn has to be hand watered 4-6 times a day. What have I gotten myself into?

I am almost done with the wedding dress I started yesterday, and I will start another as soon as the first one is finished.  I also have three bridesmaid's dresses to get done.

I have decided to have Roscoe stay at Kay's until the hydro seeding is up, as I know he will not mind the boundaries and I don't want to take him out on a leash every time he needs to go out. I can stay down at Kay's at night if I need to.

I just really have too much to do right now.  Does that sound familiar? But I will persevere and tell myself I can do this...

It has been a while since I have been sooooo busy.  Sissie helping me has really been a blessing, but the wedding dresses are taking over and I need to concentrate.

It is very hot here which I love, but not the best time to put in a new lawn.  This spring was so cold they could not do it earlier.

I am going to hurry and finish up this wedding dress and get to the next one do I can work outside some today. The garden desperately needs hoed and some fertilizer. I also need to buy a large watering can as mine pooped out and get some Miricle grow for the flowers and then 2 new long handled sprayers. Outdoor stuff wears out when you use it every day.

Okay I am off to get things done.  How about you?

God is good

  1. I’ve been getting stuff done here too. This is such a busy time of year for everyone with all the additional tasks. I hope your new lawn turns out fantastic!

    1. It is a busy time of year I had to think about that. I just added all the outdoor work and the garden so yes that is more work.

  2. You are always too busy! Hopefully the lawn will take off quickly and you will have a return to your normally overpacked days. I can't imagine having to hand water several times a day.

    1. Well, I have hand watered twice now and I will have super arm strength when I am done.

  3. You just keep making new jobs girl. I choose my battles and just having a lawn mowed is enough for me - it doesn't need to look like a golf course. I am sure it will be lovely, but sometimes we get to a point where it ALL isn't possible without killing ourselves.
Take care of yourself - I worry about you.

    1. Well, I have watered twice. The first time took 1/2 hour and the second 20 minutes. I set the timer for two hours. I am going to build arm muscle.

  4. It's a busy time of season for me also. We are replacing rotten/broken fence panels and I am painting. It will be a long process. I'm not sure it will get completed this season. (we have a large yard.)

I hope your yard turns out lovely. I love a pristine green lawn. That's not my yard, but I think they're beautiful.

  6. Hello! I am in awe of you. Literal awe. You can do everything! Please teach me. You know, in your free time, you could write a book. Seriously! Have a nice evening, my friend.

  7. After all the rain, we have finally had a couple of nice days. It dried things out enough that Harvey got to work in his veggie garden today (Thursday) and I got to do a bit of weeding.
You will get everything done as you can be superwoman for a bit. Once done though you really need to slow down.

    God bless.
