Tuesday, PAID!!!

I came across this and had to post, 6 nincompoops on Christmas eve.  The good times.

I think it took all my energy and sanity to get my bills paid yesterday.  I think paying online is so frustrating as our internet (two tin cans and a string) kicks me out at least every other time I log on.

I do think old fashioned mail and stamps might be faster and less aggravation.

I did get some sewing done and got a wedding dress done, also was able to deliver some of the sewing to a home bound lady.  Got the visiting done and a little genealogy. I will not allow genealogy to take over my life.

Ate dinner with Sissie, she made too much so we have to have leftovers.  Neither Dan nor I are excited about that. We are trying to learn to cook smaller portions, but Sissie and I are threshing crew cooks, and it is hard for us.

I have to go out and pick tomatoes today, and I did not get the dead heading done yesterday. It rained in the afternoon, so I did not have to water yippee!

Not feeling my best today, a little headachy. But I would interpret it as an advanced case of laziness. I seem to be a strong carrier of that gene. It strikes out of nowhere and there I am on the sofa watching TV and napping. I always recover when I realize it is late in the day, and I might as well hang up my hat. Because? Why not? Tomorrow is another day.  I am positive that way.

I need to go get my nails done this week. Might call and get that set. Hate to spend the money but they look horrid.

The garden is calling, and I had better get out there before it gets too hot.

Have a great and productive day

God is good

Is that a sofa?

  1. I am sure there isn't a lazy bone in that body. Everyone needs a break now and then.

  2. With all the work you do, I can't seem to visualize you as being lazy. However, that being said having a restful day is very important.

    God bless.

Kim, you remind me of the Energizer bunny...you keep going, and going and going.

  5. That is not lazy! Your body is telling you to rest a bit. As you get older, this message comes through more often.

    1. It was wonderful. Well except Slug had a terrible injury to her leg, hopefully she was high on pain pills. How little did we know what the morning would bring.

  8. Paying online is so vexing and I hate it. To pay my daughter’s tuition, we have to log on and verify with several steps…we always have to have a new password sent or some such nonsense. Always. It takes a minimum of two days and sever phone calls. It would be faster to mail a check to the east coast, which they don’t allow!!! Honestly, the money only goes one way, TO THE SCHOOL. Does the university really think someone is trying to sneak in to our account and pay her tuition? And if so, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, LET THEM!!!!
