Thursday, what happened to Wednesday?

Wow I lost a whole day!  How did that happen?  The shop runneth over.  It started at 9:30 and went until 6:30 non stop.  No time to post I guess. I so wanted to get outside as it was beautiful but that did not happen.  Now it is raining sideways.  So I guess I have no excuse but to work.  Blah!

Hub's is taking his folks up to Spokane tomorrow to see daughter and baby.  So I will have a quiet day.  Well as quiet as my sewing machine will be anyway.

Put a corned beef in the crock pot yesterday and it was not done by dinner so we had pancakes, sausage and eggs.  I think it will be done today.  So I don't have to worry about dinner.

I am desperately trying to think of reasons to do nothing but sulk about the weather and I really cannot come up with anything.  So I will pay a few bills and get to work.

Have a great and productive day!

Kim

  1. Work, work, work.. You are a busy lady.. I know this prom season has to be really busy for you. Plus, lots of weddings in the summer too..
SOrry you didn't get to get out in the sunshine.. Maybe another one will come soon.
Maybe you will get a lot done, while all are out of the house.. No distractions..[Maybe? smile]

    1. I am so hoping, I actually bought some flowers for some of my boxes. I plan on planting them tomorrow.

  2. My tactic when I cannot sleep or rain is bumming me out, is to work really hard so that when their are optimal conditions, I then have free time. It really works on sleepless nights as I can sleep the next day without feeling I should be working.

My friend designs weddings, buying, preparing flowers and designing and putting up all the trappings for weddings and the receptions. He had 16 wedding from first of April through June. Plus, he has another job. He works like crazy, sometimes from 5 am to midnight the day of a wedding. I feel for both of you.

Enjoy the peace. The sound of my sewing machine is peaceful to me and relieves stress.

  5. You need some down time occasionally but it seems that is not in your makeup. Have a nice crappy weather day!
