I am worried about Kelsa, as she is not drinking and Hubs went a got Pedialyte, but so far have not been able to get her to drink. She did eat some toast and m&m's at this point it is about calories.
She managed to hit two sofa cushions with her mess, and I have those washed and hanging on the line to dry. Hub's is miserable.
I am actually feeling better than I did the last few days and I do have an appointment with my GP tomorrow, so we will see if I am going to need an antibiotic.
The shop has been steady, and I have yet to get in there and sew anything, just too busy with grand kids. I am happy to have many leftovers from dinner yesterday, so I don't have to cook. Just putzing around the house trying to stay ahead of the flow. There is a lot of flow here right now. TMI
I am so happy that I am feeling better!
I was able to get some vacuuming and mopping done yesterday. Plus keep the laundry caught up. If I continue to feel this good, I may do the ironing tonight, but don't hold your breathe.
Hubs got the onions planted for me and we still have not purchased any soil additives for the new bed. But hey work in progress. It will all get done eventually. Eventually I think that should be the name of my blog.
Have a great and productive day staying positive while you are in the negative.
Kim
Have you tried ice cream or popsicles for her? Kool Aid? I know that if I found something my kids would eat or drink, then they thought that was life after they were better...lol. My daughter became so dehydrated from throwing up at 18 months, she could not stand, walk or crawl. She ended up in the hospital with IV. It was scary!
ReplyDeleteWe are watching her closely; I know Nate is taking her to the doctor today. I hate it when babies are sick, it is scary.
DeleteKim, Kim...I know you love those grands, but your daughter really should maybe keep sick kids at her house. I really worry you or hubs are going to end up with something you will take a long time to recover from. That said, leftovers are great to not worry about food. I agree juice pops or something just wet that she might take in might help the poor baby.
ReplyDeleteWell considering that I got this cold from Kelsa made that a moot point. When Kelsa first came down with the cold Signe' did keep her away so I would not get sick for the wedding. We do try, but sometimes it is just not i the work schedule.
DeleteHUGS - feel better soon. Glad you have leftovers to eat and that you are going to the doctor. Hope your hubs is feeling a little better as well.
ReplyDeleteHe is actually better today, and I am on the mend I think.
DeleteWe had that cold here too, my friend. It hangs on. Madison and Flynn eventually got over it, and Steve and Rhett ended up with sinus infections. Glad you are feeling better. Leftovers tonight here!
ReplyDeleteI hope mine does not hang on forever. Much better today!
DeleteDo you happen to have any decaffeinated tea bags? My grands will drink SWEET, decaffeinated tea when they feel yucky. Anything to get them hydrated.
ReplyDeleteNo but that is a good idea!
DeleteGlad you are feeling better. I wish the rest of your family well, also.
ReplyDeleteWell Hubs was better today and I know Kelsa is going to the doctor today.
DeleteUgh, wishing you the best. Like so many said, popsicles or flat soda pop, anything to get liquids down, poor baby.
ReplyDeleteDebbie
She did eat last night, and she is chipper and happy but just leaky.
DeleteI do hope those that are ill get feeling better soon. Do not wear yourself down so you get sick once again.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
I am trying not to, but it is hard as I am a workaholic.
DeleteHi Kim ... I am catching up on your posts after being away to my Mums again. You sure have had a busy time of it .... I am pleased you are feeling a bit better now. Take care of yourself Kim.
ReplyDeleteI am trying, but it is so busy that it is hard.
DeleteGlad you're feeling a bit better but sorry everyone else is still sick. No fun! Just remember to pace yourself.
ReplyDeleteThat is something I struggle with.
DeleteI'm in the same boat as you Kim. I've been sick for over a week already and am behind with just about everything. Hope you & Hubs feel better soon. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteWell we need to form a club.
DeleteThinking of you, Kim. I responded to your comment on my blog about living/writing/dealing with a chronic progressive illness: YEAH. There are days and things that need to get done, no matter what, and we pay the price later. Hugs.
