Saturday, another savings sheet

I finished chart #9 and I am onto # 10 so that is another goal completed!
I also added another $300.00 to my debt payoff so I only have $275.00 left on this debt to complete my months goals.  So as it is just 1/2 way through the month I feel pretty darn proud of myself.

I was able to get mom out last night and we went to the banks and to Costco.  She enjoyed her time out and then we were home to have dinner.  She is anxious to get Lil sis home as she has been gone for over a week.

I walked the 5 mile bridge loop this morning and I am going out to plant a few flowers soon.

Don't have any real plans for the day, I need to do laundry and ironing and I would like to make some pie crusts and go and get my nails done.  I probably should do a little sewing buy I don't really want to.  I will finish beading some sleeves for a wedding dress alteration then I just have to attach them to the dress.

It will just be an easy putz day for me and I get so few of those.  I will get mom out again for a while today.

Have a great and productive day staying positive while you are in the negative.

  1. I'm glad last night went well for getting her out after how hard it has been. You can take putz days-do not feel like you aren't deserving.

  3. I'm so glad you are taking a little bit of time for yourself today - just get out in that garden and feel the dirt between your fingers - smell the freshness of the air, and you will feel like a new person!!!! It is amazing how much just picking some of the vegetables from my garden makes me happy for the whole day!

  6. That's so awesome that you can get another chart finished. I guess when you are cranking out all those wedding dresses/etc., you are probably keeping more motivated when you can see it translate into a savings chart. Right now, we are taking one step forward, and one step backward---my car is really, really broken, my husband is out of work, and so on, but at least we are not going to drown:). We are treading water. At least that's the plan!!!

Gardening always makes me feel happy, too. I'm glad you have that option.

  7. Congratulations on your progress in the midst of so much turmoil, and I join the chorus in hoping you got some much-needed downtime. I think you've been a wonderful daughter, Kim, and in difficult circumstances.
