Wednesday, Wonderful Day!

It was dark at 5 on Monday, and it will be dark at 4 by December 20th. But I will weather through as yesterday was a wonderful day. I don't ever want this blog to be political, as I think we all have our own reasons to see things the way we see things. I respect your views even if I don't agree with them. But I am happy with results of the recent election.

I am tired of name calling, spite and unprofessional behavior. It is not kind; it is not right.

Living in Idaho, we have a balanced budget and a surplus that makes us the envy of many states.  But those two advantages are made possible by not paying a living wage to state employees. They are made possible by very, very low spending on education.  They are made possible by wealthy ranchers who run the state and inherited all their wealth.  They don't understand going to a grocery store or pumping gas they have to pay for.  They get their gas off the ranch. They for the most part with inherited wealth did not get any higher education so they don't see the reason to do so. Now this is my opinion having lived here for 40 years. We will still be controlled by this system, but it is breaking, they won by a much lower margin. Fairness is coming, it is just going to take a few more years.

I am grateful for the right to vote and the country voted!!!!!!

I have a few things to sew today and then I am making dinner and taking it up to Gaylord.

I had better get busy, I think I will do a chicken pot pie with maybe some green beans on the side.

I don't want to go to the store, so I will use what I have on hand!

Have a wonderful day and what are you grateful for today?

God is good

Kim
