I finished the last wedding dress in the shop yesterday! I should have two dresses picked up today in fact one just called and is on her way. The other will come around 5. Then the third will be picked up next week.
I am done!!! The season is over. I am sure I will get a few more in before the end of the year, but the mad time is definitely over.
I doubt I ever see a season like this again and for that I am grateful. The money was nice, but not nice enough to offset the peace of mind.
Dresses to left to be picked up, stuff to right to be done later |
There are a few things left in the shop to sew but nothing before next week. Actually, taking in any work in the next couple of weeks unless it is easy is a moot point. The shop is clean I am going to make Kimbap today and Kelsa is here for the night.
I have done a little housework and I am just enjoying the stress-free time I am having.
Going to put rice in the rice cooker and start slicing carrots.
Wow, I am so happy. I can enjoy the weekend with Hubs and then hit the hospital next week.
Keep hubby in your prayers.
Have a great and productive day staying positive while you are in the negative.
Kim
