Monday, Bumped on the house...

Well we did not get the house.  We got bumped by another party that gave them the same full price offer and did not have a home to sell.  I am sad, as I really liked that house, but I have to look at facts.  I could go and take out a loan for it using this house as collateral, but then I would have thousands in costs and I am not willing to put that money out.

The sellers wanted out immediately and gave us an extremely limited terms to sell ours,(like 2 weeks ) plus we had to give them additional funds even for that.  I am blue and depressed, this too shall pass.

It is wet and cold here and supposed to be for the next week so that is not helping my cranky mood.

I need to be cheered up, chocolate.....

Have a great and productive day staying positive while you are in the negative.

Kim

  1. What a bummer on the house. I had that happen to me years ago and I still have to slow down a bit when I pass it.

  4. I know you are disappointed - but that one wasn't the one!!!!! Everything happens for a reason - so figure God is showing you to slow down. The right one will happen when it is supposed to.

  5. I'm sorry the sale fell through, but now you have more time to get yours how you want it. My daughter is not having luck finding what will suit her either.

  6. I am sorry, Kim. I know that feeling. And I know you will hear that everything happens for a reason. And it does. But for right now, I know that you want to say, "This sucks!" So go right ahead. And drown your sorrows in a pan of brownies. Hugs!

  7. Oh, so sad. It was a great house. Unfortunately, when the sale is contingent on your own home sale, you are at a disadvantage today. Before the pandemic, it was a seller's market. Not sure about today, but the house behind me sold in one day for over half a million.

  11. That happened to us so many times when we were looking for a house several years ago, we felt like we were in bumper cars! Don't get discouraged, the right house is out there. It took the Redneck 18 months for everything to line up just right, and now we are in a great house with land and at an amazing price. I know it's hard to wait, but hang in there!

  13. we went through that several times... we would then remember when the right one came along GOD would make it happen. Finish getting your house around and get it sold as I think you said you were planning on living others for awhile until you found something or after missionary work

  14. I'm sorry! We were at the dining room table of the house we wanted, with the realtor, filling out our offer when she got word that the offer from someone else was accepted... But I'm so glad we ended up with the one that we did. 3 doors down.

  15. I was diagnosed as HEPATITIS B carrier in 2013 with fibrosis of the
liver already present. I started on antiviral medications which
reduced the viral load initially. After a couple of years the virus
became resistant. I started on HEPATITIS B Herbal treatment from
ULTIMATE LIFE CLINIC (www.ultimatelifeclinic.com) in March, 2020. Their
treatment totally reversed the virus. I did another blood test after
the 6 months long treatment and tested negative to the virus. Amazing
treatment! This treatment is a breakthrough for all HBV carriers.
