Monday, Easter Week

The beginning of Holy week.  I always loved this week as a child. It was special.  We had extra Church services, and special meals.  We celebrated pass over yesterday with a dinner of lamb at Lil sis's and it was so good. The weather is beautiful, things are in bloom.  The dead plants are alive again and it is just a beautiful time to worship and celebrate.

I spent all day Friday in the shop.  Not only was it busy but I had a wedding dress and a very hard bridesmaid dress to finish. I mean I sewed all day.  Does anyone remember that I was supposed to be taking Friday's off?  Anyone?  ANYONE?

So, I am taking today off.  It is gorgeous out and supposed to be in the low 70's.

I worked so hard with Dan on Saturday, and we are almost done putting the dirt in the new garden beds. The new tiller worked great, and I can handle it with ease. Nate and Signe' came down late Saturday, and Nate mowed the lawn.  My trimmer pooped out of battery power so that is the first thing I will do today is go trim the yard.

We are running Aunty into the hearing aid place at one for a lose wire issue.  But the rest of the day is in the yard. Color Kim Happy!

Goals for the week!

1. cash flow enough money to pay taxes

2. pay utilities, and water bills with cash

3. try and have at least 3 no spend days

4. eat all meals at home

5. buy no groceries unless terrific loss leader!

6. Try and cash flow Aunties denture reline.

I desperately need to clean and reorganize the shop for the upcoming season, but I think I need Sissie to help me.  I know I need Sissie to help me!

Right now, I have my bibs on, and I am putting on my garden boots, Hair goes into a ponytail and I am going outside!!!!! Anyone want to join me?

Have a great and productive day

God is good

Kim

  3. Enjoy your well earned day off Kim!! I know you will fill it up with all sorts of activities but I hope you manage to get outdoors for most of it. I would love to be there working alongside you. It is autumn here down under but the days are still mild - the trees are turning colour & it is very pretty. Enjoy your day & I will be thinking of you. xx
