Tuesday, Back and raring to go, I think.

I had a great time at my daughters although her trial settled the morning of, so there was really no reason for me to be down there!  You have no control over the court system.

I had a ton of phone calls for wedding dresses while I was gone, it is going to be a busy season.

Kelsa is here for the next three days and I sure missed her while I was gone.

THERE IS SO MUCH TO DO IN THE SHOP, AND I NEED TO START WORKING ON THE TAXES.   Yikes!

Every year it is the dreaded tax season.

I ordered my Aunties ticket to come here, and I am going to work on our tickets to Hawaii today if I can get through.  I might just put the phone on speaker and wait it out.

Anything important happen in blog land while I was gone.  Please tell!

  1. Glad you are back and raring to go! You are sure one busy lady. Just a hint - first year of filing taxes after G passed - I paid the price to have them done. Lots of things to think of, that never entered my mind. They took care of it all. It was a blessing.
    Have a great week!

    1. I second Cheryl’s comment. I always did our taxes, but had someone do the taxes last year and again this year. And they did know things about estates that I didn’t know. Glad you are back, and it is time for another Kelsa putting her foot in her ear photo ;). She is a cutie for sure. Hilogene in Az.

    2. Well good advice, I have always had an accountant as I ran both the studio and the shop, it pays. They know what to do.

    1. I knew you of all people would see it that way. Murder trials are so hard.

  8. I echo what Cheryl, Hilogene, and others have said about taxes. Pay an accountant to do them. The death of a spouse or any other major life change has a huge affect on taxes. Like these very wise women have said, the tax preparers thought of thing they never would have. Blessings to you.

  9. Glad you enjoyed your visit! I do smell a plea bargain if it was a criminal case.
Nothing wonderful is happening in my personal blogland and I have not noticed anything unseemly in any of those I read.

  11. I'm waiting on some paperwork and hope to get taxes done in March. I'm glad your time with your daughter was enjoyed. I've got more changes in the horizon in my life, good for the most part, but not without challenge. Otherwise, nothing really to report. I got through the one year mark without totally collapsing.

  12. If you can, pay someone to help with your taxes! Glad you had the time with your daughter, which was hopefully more relaxing for her, as her case settled.

I bought tickets unexpectedly to Turkey yesterday (we will meet DH's family). It was supposed to be in June, but got moved up to April due to visa issues. Fingers crossed I clicked all of the right buttons!

  14. Hello! I have missed you, my friend. Not much new here. We went to Disney. We got sick. Disney is a petri dish of germs in January. We are home and feel better. Have a cozy evening!!!
