Wednesday, well we can text but....

We finally have partial service, but it is hit and miss.  We are still not receiving calls, but we can text.  The calls we do make have several problems like going to mute, or not connecting or connecting to a bust signal.  It is a weird happening let me tell you, plus aggravating.

I worked myself to death yesterday.  It was great to have it be cooler and no phone calls. I was able to really deep clean the upstairs.  We had a nice meal and also I made 4 loaves of bread which is something I have not done for a long time. I forgot how easy it was as the mixer does all the work.  As much as I love homemade bread, I will not do this weekly.   We just eat way too much of it and that causes other problems.

I picked the last of the corn from the garden so now we will have to buy it.  But we will be able to get corn within a week for 10/1.00 from local farmers. I roasted small yellow crookneck squash last night and it was eaten to the last drop.  So yummy.

I stayed up late trying to get the hand work done on some dresses, I still have two more to do and will try and get to them during nap time as the little are here today.

We have had two days of low 90's and it will be in the triple digits tomorrow again.  Hot, hot, hot.  I hope to have full cell service by late this afternoon.

The grocery adds came out for the week and they were crap which in a way is good as it will keep me out of the stores.  I am still trying to eat down the freezers as they are so full and it is hard to keep things from falling every time you open them.

We have so many leftovers from last night I don't have to cook tonight.  Yippee!

I could really use a nap.

Have a great and productive day staying positive while you are in the negative.

  1. love it when there are enough leftovers that you don't have to cook the next day.

  2. I don't get people that don't like leftovers. I love them as they save money and I don't have to cook. I call that a win win!

  3. I sympathize on the dangers of homemade bread. I try to save it for a treat, since I will gobble it up whenever I make it.
